Art time! The vampires need drawing

629 words added today! It's nothing spectacular, but good progress regardless

What I should do is continue drafting chapter header images. My plan is to drive myself insane by having a unique one for each chapter. Currently, I have around 35 (chapters) planned (18 written), which is, you know, just a few. Only a couple. Perfectly reasonable number

Currently worried about the length of FOTN (specifically, that book one may be too short). Do I need to worry? Almost definitely not, but that's never stopped me before

No, but I also haven't created an application form. There are a few people on my Threads that will probably be interested when I start looking

I cannot believe it's been exactly 1 month since I last updated FOTN's daily word count, but today's count is 1,595! In my defense, I didn't completely abandon my writing, but rather diverted my attention to my romance novella

I should come up with a way to share the effects of vampirism with my social media followings. I'm thinking a combination of art and text will be my best bet, though I'm not sure how to execute it. I can probably poke around to find similar things from other artists and take some notes

My mind is overrun with ideas of what to change in the next draft. It's making work on the current one a bit of a challenge. Would be great if my mind did this AFTER I finished it

Colour-coding an outline, currently. No pictures because ✨spoilers✨, but there are 4 colours currently, each being for a different character minus the 4th, which covers 2 (I might change that)

On a note unrelated to my writing: I have a few ideas for potentially improving my art! I won't guarantee that I'll be posting any remotely soon, but the ideas are there, and I am hoping to test them out ✨eventually✨

Great? I personally find it very disappointing. I was hoping to have it handed off to beta readers within the year, but she is NOT ready to have eyes on her. This hot mess is urban fantasy/vampire fiction

Not currently, but it's also definitely not ready for betas. I would not want to read it in its current state, I'm not subjecting anyone else to it

Currently, urban fantasy. I also do sci-fi, horror, and the odd romance, but the story I'm reffering to is urban fantasy

Oh I definitely need to write a 4th draft before this bad boy will be ready for beta readers. I don't think revisions will be enough (unless they're extremely heavy revisions)

I have thought up a character that it would be absolutely evil for me to kill so... I'm thinking of killing them. Plus, it would make the name of the book a little more fitting (not even remotely why I'm thinking of killing them, I just don't like them, and thematically, it would work)

Was looking at the first draft of FOTN book one in order to see what the ending was like, and I've discovered two mildly interesting things:
1. Drafts one and two were both completed in August
2. Draft one took me three years to write. Three

I think I'm going to make a post to introduce FOTN characters, I'm just trying to figure out what to do for it. Individual posts for each would make the most sense, so I'll probably go that route, but I'm not sure what information to include

Worked on outlining 3 separate stories today. 2 watery stories (one is mermaids, one is water powers), and FOTN book 2. First time I've added anything to the outline of FOTN book 2 for a while
