They saw people getting $600/week in pandemic unemployment and realizing that there's actually enough money to go around without having to work ourselves to the brink of exhaustion every week and said "that's it, all public health institutions must be destroyed no matter what."

100 years of public health knowledge, institutions, and wisdom destroyed bc billionaires saw people getting paid so that they could eat and make rent while staying home during a global pandemic and took it as an existential threat to the system that allows them to be billionaires in the first place
It wasn't just the $600/week. It was the fact that people who weren't usually able to function and pay bills, were taking that $600/week & actually getting ahead and they said, "OH HELL NO!!!"

The interview is framed as if Beshear wants Democrats to stop talking like poll-obsessed robots but all of his answers are carefully worded, focus-grouped platitudes.

Tri-Stringer
(This one is mostly covered up, but there are some small things we can see. The main body notably looks a lot more like Bamboo which is interesting. They also have shaper spikes where the shots come out which I think is cool.)

Dynamo Roller
(Probably the least changed weapon here. All it really got was a more shinier paint job though I'm not sure how much you can do with a Dynamo Roller.)

Mini Splatling
(Very very interesting design here. Its hard to tell what the stickers wrapped around it are, but they look like caution tape? Also the fans around the actual gun are really really fun. Again, colors are cool. I'm hoping we get to see more fun designs for weapon skins like this.)

Slosher
(Very colorful, reminds me a certain 3rd Kit. I love the rope on it and how it looks like the spring mechanism just broke off. Also the handle at the top not being connected to the other side is a neat detail.)

Splattershot
(Notably a different design from the first trailer. Looks cool, reminds me a lot of the Squiffer redesign though I'm interested if the OG shot is still in the game. The new design also looks like a mash-up of the Splat 1 and Splat 3 Shot styles.)

Octobrush and Splattershot Jr.
(These designs are really cool, Octobrush especially since it has the cracks below the bristles which expose more of them.)
Alright, so here are all the main weapons I saw from the trailer. All of them have a new skin to fit with the aesthetic of Raiders which I think is really cool (really hope we get more weapon skins in future games from these).
I think you could also call this "class solidarity."
Media, universities, corporations see fascism or antifascism as secondary to protecting the power and reputation of their own industries/sectors/classes.

This literally just being advanced salmon run. Seated.
You can adventure on your own in Splatoon Raiders, but you can also bring up to three other players in on the action, near or far. Don't worry about balance or difficulty—whether you team up with friends or go solo, it all evens out!

And thank god for that
It absolutely was the estate is involved with the film, and you can see the director comments and him doing the wishy washy "we don't know what happened but people do things for money and I right guys" bullshit like we know. Legally they got stopped due to agreements with the victims.
MICHAEL is a truly insane biopic. Like, "Gee looks like he was really into toys and zoo animals and Peter Pan, and connected well with children. Anyway, let's not stick around for that Shaquille O'Neal-sized shoe to drop..." Such a bizarre, sinister undertaking.
OH MY GOD...
I really hope when AOC is President or whatever she makes sure the DOJ goes after Timbo here. Trump just out loud saying he's taking bribes from Cook and putting his thumb on the scale.
That’s exactly what I’m talking about!! That doesn’t help them politically, AND it’s shitty policy. People hate DHS now more than ever, Trump is underwater on immigration. Now is when you try to make real change, not a bipartisan bill that caves to right wingers, omfg
Dunked on this yesterday but in reality the first order of business needs to be punishment. I'm not kidding. We can't start fixing anything until we punish, and punish hard, the people who put us here. That needs to be done to send a message. And if we don't punish, nothing else will matter.
Thrilled that Wired's newsroom has been honored for our DOGE reporting with a Hillman Prize for magazine journalism! www.hillmanfoundation.org/hillman-priz...
Donate to them, fighting this will be very easy in court as they haven't actually done anything wrong but it will still be expensive.
