Last night, I read Washington's last speech. I had an assignment I had to complete. He did not oppose disagreement, he opposed factionalism, where loyalty to a party outweighs loyalty to country. There were other things included that sounded like a warning to us today, too. Maybe I'll share it.

I was disgusted when I saw this. I also saw it going around that Faux News KNEW this wouldn't go over well with Americans so they showed old footage instead of current footage? Seriously? I get we've been at this stage for some time now, but it still amazes me how openly treasonous they all are.

Daylight Savings tried to take me out. I still turned in my midterm and made a whole video. A clip from the part where I talk about democracy, responsibility, and the generations coming after us — because some things matter more than lost sleep.

I guess it could be the deepest of oceanic mysteries we've yet to explore or maybe the amazingly "emptiness" the quietness of space.
It is interesting the ways the mind copes with stress. I prefer creativity, the quiet, the sorting and meandering thoughts.

Agreed. I cannot help thinking of not just the women around me today, but of my ancestors, and their unspoken pain. They all had times of suffering from men who "loved" them. Some who tried to kill them more than once. The patriarchy made women disposable long ago. Wild, right? We, who give life.

I've got a few fun questions for you! Let's take a deep breath and think of something else for a moment. I'm like completely in sync with my Grandparent's lately! There's even been cool signs out of nowhere! #princealbertiinthecan and the scent of his pipe smoke.

There’s so much “grim” going on that it’s natural to retreat. Sometimes, nostalgia is dangerous, sometimes, it’s a treat.

It is okay to take a “moment.” If you don’t, you’ll have nothing left to give when it’s really needed.

Today, I took a much needed break even though the resource of time is limited. Focus is crucial, but I needed to try something new and different. This might just be an opening to something beautiful and filled with JOY! The best possible way to RESIST!

I moved to a rural area. I haven’t lived in the country for YEARS. Out here, they still place the family surname at the end of the drives with the mailbox. There’s one marked “Floyd.” When I first moved here and drove by, I remembered George Floyd. Now, I add this layer to my commute. Thought sauce🤷🏻‍♀️
