Honestly I just want them to make a canon establishment as to why one nacelle works - I don’t even care if it’s the most bullshirt technobabble XD Especially now they established there IS a reason

Much as I love Tolkien and Milne when reading to my daughter, and a little circumlocution is good fun in childrens’ books, especially when portraying character thoughts, boy they do waffle on sometimes!
I can‘t wait for season two, hope it’s not shelved, and fear for a new show in this era after some of the more awkward tones of Enterprise. But I have a hope and a dream.
I wish there was a way to filter YouTube kids tv by full episodes and not ridiculously gaze-drawing clip compilations that have zero resolution
My daughter is four and I already fear this
Welcome to Germany, where you’ll panic about the gender of Kryptonite on the morning before a language exam.
Wish me luck!
Today included interviewing for a German company with a British professional dialogue mindset, and being completely overwhelmed by the straightforwardness.
I think I did ok, but maybe rambled.
I understand, friend. I simply had a sincere lack of understanding but it doesn’t feel like your fault
I don’t know what pointy are making
This is the first message I have read in years that made me want to sincerely post „ROFL“

Oh I mean true it’s a complete loss of power and a shambles. I’m just rolling my eyes at the fact the headline is meant to make people think we won’t be using the word „marmalade“ any more.
So it’s being rebranded from marmalade to…. Marmalade, but with a fruit adjective so I know what I’m eating?
Like… cherryade vs strawberryade? Or salt and vinegar crisps vs cheese and onion crisps?
I fail to see the problem.
Nobody‘s stopping it being called marmalade. The title is clickbait. You just have to say what kind of fruit it is, like „lemon marmalade“, „orange marmalade“, as marmalade is made of more than just oranges.
Just how often does Julie Andrews get bitten by dogs or stung by bees that she needed to practice emotional regulation?
There is an episode where a Vulcan watches I Love Lucy so they exist in overlap but they are not in the same universe
Would a werewolf YouTuber be a Lycan Subscribe?
It was at 40 years old that I realised “Cluedo” is a pun on the Latin word for game, “Ludo”
Whenever he sings “This is my only
Number!” I get sad at the fact that’s true
I mean aren’t we meant to be watching these shows with them so we know which are utter shit and to get all the placeholder text jokes in Ben and Holly?
Is this one of those “we get subsidies from the bread industry’ things
As a #StarTrek fan, all these BORG RPG books are are really confusing every time I see one in the news... :D
No, "Starship Enterprise" is one of a few valid names. So the ship's names include "USS Enterprise", "Enterprise", "USS Enterprise 1701", "Starship Enterprise" are all exlicitly valid.
And sometimes people translate names that include titles for reasons I don't know. So "Raumschiff Enterprise".
I still enjoy watching people's faces when I tell them I worked on a 3D mobile game for a car insurance company.

Which bit? The use of the feminine for ships (fair) or the use of gender for nouns (fair) or the idea that "Starship Enterprise" is a noun (I have receipts) or my completely silly assertion combining them?
I fucking love how #StarTrek Starfleet Academy leans heavily into the tropes of the teen drama show it's making. It's so on the nose, but also FUN!
There's a Klingon called "Jayden". 😂
Jay means "intensely," but rude. Den means "attractive".
So his name literally means he's "Fucking hot!" 🤣
In German, its Das Raumschiff (neutral article, spaceship) but it should be Die Raumschiff Enterprise, because that’s one whole-ass name, ships are traditionally women, and Raumschiff is part of that whole name.
The Klingons having joined the Federation is probably the biggest one in early vs. late TNG I can think of.
