Sadly, we no longer live in a functioning democracy.

It’s been months so it wasn’t minute. Immediately after he won the primary he was doing outreach, but I also think he was closed off from meeting with folks cause they wanted Cuomo, they finally came around.

I think overall he heard the primary criticisms and has done work to gain trust with Black voters. Has he won them all over No but he has made gains. He put in the work and I acknowledge the effort hope he maintains it.

Funny thing is progressives had nothing to say about Barbara Lee’s age or her getting into the 2024 primary. In fact many backed her Senate run and she was 77 at the time. So it’s not about age or money.
