I watched. My impression:
He thought he would be able to sway public opinion in favor of his war in Iran. That's all it was. He was just trying to sell his war. He made no announcements, gave no new information. It was just 19 minutes of lying and spin.

That makes no sense. It's a statement about the voters, notably young people. Trump's popularity among young people had dropped 30 points since he's been in office. They should have been paying attention BEFORE the election.
This is about as disturbing as it gets. When Trump says he plans to be a dictator, there’s no reason not to believe him.
