And if you're interested, Dr. Joe Sachs, producer on #ThePitt, told me this (horrifying) Guardian investigation into "wild pregnancies" and "The Free Birth Society" was the inspiration for this storyline: www.theguardian.com/world/ng-int...

I would really love to know if I was the only one who watched it and immediately said "A VERTICAL INCISION?!?!?!" But I talked to an OBGYN and that's what they have to do if it's this big of an emergency.
Wrote this for any fellow mom out there who had heart palpitations during #ThePitt finale's c-section scene: www.usatoday.com/story/entert...
It’s Long Covid Awareness Day (which I think should be the Ides of March, for reasons that will become clear.)
Some of you have heard this before. But I wanted to share my Long Covid story, because I think you should hear it.
On my birthday in November 2022, I woke up with Covid.
THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!
The first of a few pieces from my interview with Ken Burns about #TheAmericanRevolution. I got the honestly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk with him and his co-directors through Old City Philadelphia and talk about history right next to where it happened. Cannot recommend highly enough.
One thing I cannot get over about All's Fair is that the lawyers are all way too rich. They would be millionaires, not billionaires. And like I can only think they are in mansions that big because like Kim K refused to shoot anywhere else.
I mean that twist would have also been welcome ... When you get further I wrote a thing about the marriages. It is not subtle but hey i like stuff that makes a point with a hammer rather than not trying to make a point at all.
So it took me a really long time to get through the first few episodes because of Mom stuff but I was glad I did in the end because a) I thought they made some really nice points and b) the end is I N S A N E
The only story where you'll find a reference to "The Thong Song" and "Andor" in the same 800 words!

The most fun you'll have on TV this fall is with the likes of James Garfield and Chester A. Arthur. Seriously. - @klawls.bsky.social

And @klawls.bsky.social's review:
- "It's so stilted, artificial and awkward not even a glass of wine and leftover Halloween candy can make it remotely enjoyable to view."
Got to go to Netflix's new "interactive experience" Netflix House. It's like a tiny Disneyland in a mall. It's heady and wild and I think a lot of people will like it. www.usatoday.com/story/entert...
How is this this bad.
Because people think you're a bitch if you don't.

WAIT ALAN someone stole our FULL TRASH CAN last week. We have ring footage from a neighbor of some guy wheeling it down the street and he had filled the top with loose wires?!?!?! Then he disappears into the ether and I have to go to home depot
Oh no no no
If you only read one thing about the new Taylor Swift album, make it my colleague Melissa's thoughtful review: www.usatoday.com/story/entert...
I dread watching screeners with 20 different steps of security so this is all just hurting them in the long run.
If you want to stream stuff for only $3 a month have I got news for you... www.usatoday.com/story/entert...
Is this an excuse to remind people that Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the greatest TV shows ever made? Yes, yes it is.
Also here's my official list of good shows for kids based on what I would let my kid watch and what I would tolerate watching with her: www.usatoday.com/story/entert...
The TLDR? Who cares how much traditional TV they watch keep them off YouTube and Roblox and a phone....
I'm back talking about kids and TV again and was shocked but not surprised by the way experts talk about screens and older kids: www.usatoday.com/story/entert...
Love to be added!
Hi! sorry for the late reply about the kids' tv story. Can you follow me so I can message you?

Manchester by the Sea in Amazon as a Father’s Day movie is a sick joke
What, and I stress, the fuck
Hi friends! I'm looking for parents of elementary-aged kids who might want to talk to me about screen time. Specifically TV screen time. How much do you let your kids watch? What shows? How is it different to you from other screen time? @ me and let's talk for a story for USA TODAY!
