Yes but it’s better if you know it’s coming and has to be dealt with in an hour. I didn’t!

I see it is mainly described as 'elitist'. There are many of these rich boys' exclusive clubs, perhaps Davos is just the most famous.
A lot of people shrugged and said 'Bold, but maybe a good choice – set a chancer to deal with a chancer'. Most of them have forgotten that now though.
Yes, I see he is listed as a former member. Hardly any other
names I recognise on there.
Lots of people, including many who are now accusing Starmer, thought it was a bold but rather brilliant move to appoint Mandelson...
Really? Why is this not better known? If true it seems undemocratic, since it precludes a government from making essential changes for the benefit of the whole country. I thought Parliament could change anything, if it really wanted to.
Contracts that would be impossible or too expensive to get out of I suppose - how one government stymies the next.
Have to admit this dreadful dangerous man sometimes makes me laugh 😆
Lies Industry UK - Sopel from News Agents podcast now:
“Starmer must resign because he appointed Mandelson.”
Sopel then:
“Mandelson is a class act.”
So we’re bound to an agreement that’s wholly exclusive? But I’m ignorant about these issues.
and handing politicians more control over which species get protected. These changes would weaken the ESA at every stage slower listings, faster delisting before recovery is real, and less accountability. Please call your Reps: (202) 224-3121
H.R. 1897 is moving fast in the House and could hit the floor for a full vote as soon as tomorrow. This bill would gut the Endangered Species Act forcing economic impact considerations into listing decisions, limiting your ability to challenge bad science in court,
The ESA is responsible for saving 99% of species under its protection from going extinct, including wildlife like the bald eagle, humpback whale, polar bear, and American bison, as well as lesser-known plants and animals which are no less critical to keeping our ecological networks intact.
Thanks. Just read this and I can’t understand it either - what possible objection to can Labour have to at least attending the discussions 🤷🏻♀️
There's only one side Farage is on... his own.

TRUMP AND ELON HAVE STOLEN BILLIONS
Oh a warning for all ‼️ - after I completed the very detailed complaints form and submitted it I turned my phone off and went to bed. This am I find Beeb then sent a verification email that had to be responded to within 60 mins or whole thing invalid and has to be done again 😠
Done thanks

I have.
OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.
Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

We all need to lodge an official complaint. It takes no time at all, and I've dropped a link to BBC Complaints in the comments. This is shocking.
Why is the BBC giving
ReformUK Ltd so much covert publicity.
I'm sick of seeing Farage' slimy mug for my licence fee.

Really hope so - still I think Farage will be laughing all the way to the bank - he’s made shedloads of money and all without having to do the hard graft of being PM.
Listen, every single one of us deserves a fair shot. 👋
TOMORROW, April 21, 6am–7pm, we make sure that’s real. Vote YES to end the map games.
Doesn’t matter where you live or if you haven’t registered yet—same-day registration at the polls works. See you there! #VoteYesVirginia
"If [Trump] can't be impeached and removed—I mean he is literally the nightmare that the framers of the Constitution had in mind—If members of Congress can't carry out that obligation, then what's the point to Article I? What's the point to the whole Constitution? We might as well just give up."
It’s not just the remarkable 63% who say they’d vote to rejoin the EU. It’s also the fact that this figure continues to rise slowly but steadily.
Brexit has failed and is seen to have failed. And geopolitics brings Britain and its neighbours, with whom it shares interests & values, closer together.
It is possible to think that this whole undignified Mandelson vetting debacle does not reflect well on the PM at all, while also thinking that another leadership contest is literally the last thing anybody needs right now.
