Here are some of my favorite photos last week’s Real Salt Lake vs Seattle Sounders.

Dark horse of the season

Feels good to be saying the same thing as Matthew Doyle. That pass is a beauty.

RSL's passing play through 30 minutes of this first half has been fairly impressive.

1. Pass of the Week here from Morgan Guilavogui, who looks like a star.

2. Had heard that Sergi Solans stood a good chance of winning the starting 9 job for RSL. This'll help!

3. Atlanta are rapidly reaching "don't read too much into it when your team thrashes them" status.

A wonderful finish by Sergi Solans for Real Salt Lake, but even more impressive was the perfect weight on the pass from Morgan Guilavogui to set it up.

This new look for Real Salt Lake is really working. B-Team line up and hold against Vancouver?

Might be early, but RSL could be a dark horse of 2026.

I’m getting desperate for any kind of Seattle Sounders roster announcements…

On a side note, I’ll be devastated if Rothrock leaves.

The Seattle Sounders prove quality depth and mentality > spending all your money on names and star power.

It’s absolutely fantastic.

One of my favorite thing about the Seattle Sounders is when they are firing on all cylinders, goals can come from anywhere - whether it’s a starter or depth from the bench.

DeAndre Yedlin is an RSL man now and I love it.

At this point, it wouldn’t be an RSL game without a little bit of drama.

In my opinion? Should be a red card for Zaha. Argument to be made for violent conduct.

. @proreferees.bsky.social need some serious help this year. Week after week atrocious and utterly embarrassing officiating.

So envious of all the photographers in that stadium tonight…

On broadcast you could see his mouth moving. Seemed kinda like he was talking. He also lifted his head slightly but quickly rested it again.
