Ever wonder where the “magic” actually happens? We got to sneak inside the Island Packet Yacht factory to see exactly where our girl was born! It was total “boat geek heaven” seeing how these blue-water sailing beauties are put together - see svkoko.com/archives/4158

Sailing the Florida Keys was pure magic—easily one of the most unforgettable legs of our journey from St. Pete, down to the Everglades and the Keys, and back up to the Chesapeake Bay. Clear water, quiet mornings, and freedom in every breeze.

A coffee grinder and a coffee press on the cockpit table on a sailboat.

Coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s a ritual, a memory, a breath of freedom. I don’t love the taste. I love the feeling. The grind, the aroma, the slow pour—it’s meditation in motion. Somewhere between the sip and the sunrise, I’m home. svkoko.com/archives/3172

Unlearning the good life. Turns out happiness isn’t found in luxury, status, or what others say you should want. It’s found in quiet moments, self-trust, and the courage to choose your own path - svkoko.com/archives/3052.

Rotten keel on a wooden boat.

Rotten keel on a wooden boat.

Love it or hate it, the full-foil keel on Island Packet Yachts always sparks debate. It’s sleek, stable, and built for long passages—but it’s not without its challenges. Which side are you on—Team Full-Foil or Team Fin, or a totally other team? 🤔- svkoko.com/archives/2669 #Sailing #IslandPacket

Always make sure your cable lugs have proper contact - and no washer comes in-between. svkoko.com/archives/1901

We did the same on our new-to-us Island Packet, practically a spaceship compared to our earlier boats. Even with an excellent manual and a factory walkthrough, we felt a bit overwhelmed at first. Staying at the dock, living aboard and together tracing every system hands on was the best way to learn.
