It's a relief to see I'm not the only one who feels this way! You and others in this thread have already said everything more eloquently than I would, so I'll just say that I concur.
I am also around midway through Act 2, but losing steam.

Funny as this is, after reading the article Team Cherry sounds like they've had the healthiest game dev experience possible and I love that for them. I'm glad they've had fun making the game this whole time, and that they gave it the time they felt it needed. I'm sure it will show in the game!

A Short Hike, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, OlliOlli World, Pode (depending on what you qualify as supernatural - it's magical in a unique way). Stray unless you qualify that as "sci-fi tech as magic".
Many simulators and racing games also meet this criteria but may not be what you had in mind.

So upset about this. Cliffhanger is a studio I'd been watching, seemed to be full of very talented folks working on something cool. Incredibly disappointing to see EA continue to wreak havoc on devs' livelihoods in pursuit of impossible profit. My condolences and well wishes to those impacted.

Finished South of Midnight. What a gorgeous game. GREAT storytelling and some of the best dialogue writing I've seen in games recently. Deeply grateful this game exists. Big thank you to everyone whose hard work brought it to life.
