BTW, the first volume of the series is already on sale, translated with commentary by my brother-in-law, Martin S. Cohen, edited and layed-out and with graphics and cover by me.

I'm editing a new translation of the Torah. MS Word saw the sentence, "The people now turned on Moses and asked, 'What shall we drink?'" and suggested I hyphenate "turned-on." Word thinks a turned-on Moses is a good plot twist. Then we could change the people’s line to, “So, what are you drinking?”
I saw this in a repost. So beautiful. I expected to see more art like this on your feed, but the photos are beautiful, too.
Zuckerberg’s aggressive replacement of content you ask for with largely generated content you didn’t is a real anti-social flex with a lot of anti-community functions.
I love how this reverses the usual heaven and hell colour coding.
Now following. Thanks for diverse bodies and beautiful drawing texture.
Yes! I have a vivid memory of driving down the street in Vancouver completely lined by magnolias in bloom on both sides.
AND STILL SWEATY FROM THE GAME!
That is beautiful. But it does look more like a big cheese knife than a broadsword… still, using the blade for the glow around the head… gorgeous.

My dad and I built two Heathkit radios! I wanted to build their organ, but it never happened.
Bulimic and proud
I can understand that. To me, expressing this kind of sarcasm is another way of expressing anger, not indifference.
Because you didn't understand my post?
Or, as this hot classmate teased me when I was still in the closet: “Here’s my penis, it’s for hire. Cash required“
The EU is also why Apple had to give up their proprietary and stupidly fragile lightning cables and ports in favour of the universal USB C. This is what consumer protection looks like.
I don’t want to victim blame, but those women should’ve tried being very rich, white men.
Spurrier breaks your head with imagination and compassion with his creator-owned material, and even when he works for corporate comics.
Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.
So that must have been the order… it was open then, then they planned the moved to Manning which never happened (though the renovations were well underway). Then it moved into Loblaws.
Laura Stone from the Globe on X: #BREAKING: Ontario Premier Doug Ford's government is selling its $28.9 million private jet, a senior government source tells The Globe. The purchase set off a firestorm of criticism when the Star revealed it last week. with critics calling it "the gravy plane."
We did it! We stopped the Gravy Plane! Let’s keep fighting to save our waterfront from jets. #onpoli #topoli

Pups of the low countries!
It’s like around Covid times. Starbucks was set to open at Manning and Dupont, then abruptly cancelled as Covid closed in. They took over the former TD bank and Dupont and Christie (wait, was that before?), then a couple of years later closed it and just became a counter in Loblaws.

Just Above My Head, James Baldwin's last novel, and a rich queer masterpiece, full of tenderness in a violent world. A mature and loving book that I return to. Also, the audiobook is beautifully narrated.

An absolutely bonkers Canadian SF book with some really fascinating queer content, including a cloned female-only community. Highly recommended.

Well written until it comes to how actual men are sexual with each other… And I won't even make it all about the gender of the author, because I've read women who get it, and this author doesn't. But I liked the prose and how she brought history to life.
Gee, you'd think a Scott was having issues with Captain Britain or something!
