From a nursing perspective I completely agree with you, continuity among staff is important but to suggest it's an independent factor in mortality is an overreach.

TL;DR
▫️There’s no good evidence mucolytics help (or harm) ventilated ICU pts

Dividing up healthcare into nice clear lanes that each proffesion can except to have domain over is not a particularly efficient model to develop a workforce. Advanced Practitioners don't want to 'be doctors' they want to have the skills necessary to help their patients.
Do you need a campaign manager? I can get you on several podcasts hosted by obnoxious 19yos to really sell your platform.
Likely the real danger for patients here aside from the financial impact of a surgery over running is surgeons/anesthesia providers lowering the bar for complexity they are willing to work on. ASA3-4 patients most likely to be impacted. Or patients with extensive surgical history.
Oh no, I would contemplate retiring 😢

India are in a hole and, other than the skipper and Siraj, they don’t really have the same quality of attack to dig them out of it. They’re going to have to hope the Aussies throw away a few wickets.

Find myself oddly saddened by this news, rightly or wrongly I associate Prescott with a more professional and sensible period of British politics. Strange to feel that nostalgia slipping away.

Interpreting blood test results on one person is like understanding time travel. The "predictive value" of the result changes... when the prevalence of the thing you're looking for in the population changes. WTAF? We were discussing at work and I remembered: this! www.badscience.net/2006/12/crys...
