Midr was skilled in magic, and uses his abilities to help Rea create almost scarily intelligent constructs. He was pressured from a young age to go into the collegium, but in rebellion he instead worked under Rea. Their combination of skills has created some of the most wonderful / frightening works

Rea was an engineer from a young age, but in a world where magic is king. She herself found out in her 20s when attempting to use magic that it was not compatible for her bc of her human lineage. She experienced rapid aging and threw herself fully into finding a way to make her own kinda ‘magic’
