This is not consistent with First Amendment law. At all!! Strong 1A protections apply when lawyers engage in public discourse. (Even when they don't, see Chiles v Salazar!)
P.S.: Of course, you're not my word genie; cheers if you have better things to do for free.
Pardon @bcdreyer.social,
Is "sabbaticant" a cromulent enough word to use on a business résumé for "a person who is on sabbatical?" I struck out with three dictionaries & D.E.'s index already, but I like it.
Is this a "be the change you want to see in the world" situation or will I look like a tool?

It’s finally happened. After 18 months. Finally, a media merger you can root for.
Yes. It will always hurt, but as time passes, you'll remember happier things and feel less grief.

Also had Crow's Song as a notification tone for years, but that's hard to render as a quote.

I'm a bit confused because their geographic marker for Tulsa is nowhere close to accurate. If you can't make maps of data in 2026, that's not a great sign of underlying data quality.
I am interested to learn more about this pattern, though.

Two ICE agents by a black sedan.
A tree lined neighborhood street with a Chevy Titan parked backwards in front of a black sedan and an SUV in back. Two ICE agents visible.
Blurry photo of two ICE agents in front of some cars in a neighborhood.
Black sedan with a spoiler, the license plate blacked out, on a street in Mesta Park, OKC. My van in the background.
This morning in Mesta Park, OKC. 4 ICE agents pulled a man over on my street. They stopped him and took him away in less than 5 minutes. 2 hours later his cousin showed up. I told her I’m so sorry and gave her a hug. She cried in my arms for a long time. They just keep taking our neighbors y’all.
Wemby gonna be spending 4 games doing Globetrotters shit on this Blazers defense

We won.
Tesla Chicago is closed.
Their new location is in a ghost town. They sacrificed visibility to thousands/day--& proximity to the other luxury car dealerships--to get away from us, because we'd turned their brand ambassador location into a liability.
Organizing works.

As someone who actually **needs** to wear glasses to work, I prefer my lenses to be as large as possible without looking comical. It makes it easier to see!

It depends on the afront. I'm pretty chill, but if I see a plie of anything blocking a fire door, I'm browbeating the manager for about 5 minutes until I follow through on my threat to call 911 for the fire department loudly in front of their staff.
17yo daughter asked to see Project Hail Mary today. Never heard of it; had a blast. Very fun movie, and effectively paced for as long as it is. I'm a scientist, so YMMV, but it's ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me. Kid liked it, too.
"... to understand different points of view, as long as they're rooted in facts..."
This is practically a radical statement for a journalist to say these days. I wish more would openly embrace it.
