“If you are struggling to make ends meet, I can't recommend contacting DPF highly enough. The support I received helped me a huge amount to get my career to where it is now!”
"I found the phone conversations invaluable. They made me feel connected to someone."
"DPF helped to release the weight of the financial pressure I was experiencing and allowed me to see clearly again!"
"It is reassuring to know that there is support available in an industry where you often feel alone if you're struggling."
✨Every year we transform the lives of many dancers, dance teachers and choreographers through our grants. All thanks to gifts in Wills from supporters like you.
But don't just take our word for it, here's some of the feedback we've had from just some of those we've supported:

A person is captured mid-dance in a sunlit, rustic studio with exposed brick walls and wooden beams. They are performing a graceful backbend, balancing on one leg while reaching one arm forward and placing the other across their chest. The dancer's form and expression convey strength and fluidity, highlighted by the natural light streaming through the large window on the right.

A vintage black and white portrait of a woman with dark, neatly parted hair pulled back into two low buns. She has a serious expression, high cheekbones, and a strong gaze directed slightly to the side. She is wearing a collared shirt with a patterned scarf draped around her neck. The background is blurred, and the lighting softly highlights her facial features.
A digital graphic features a quote in white serif font on a muted purple background. The quote reads, "Somebody must always be doing something new, or life would get very dull." Below the quote, the author's name, "Ninette de Valois," is displayed in a smaller font. A large stylized quotation mark is positioned in the top left corner.
As #WomensHistoryMonth comes to a close, we're remembering one of our key founders, Dame Ninette de Valois OM CH DBE: Irish-born British dancer, teacher, choreographer, & the first Artistic Director of the Royal Ballet.
