Hunter R. but without context
Hunter R. but without context YouTube video by Hunter Rchive

This was edited and sent to me by StrawS1f9, one of my channel members. They also surprised me with an entire out-of-context compilation of my channel. I thought it was funny, so I uploaded it to my second channel with their permission... Enjoy... 😵‍💫

In preparation for potential live-streams, channel members can now use five brand new emotes, illustrated by the very talented @ferrangr1.bsky.social.

Ferran was amazing to work with, and you can find his portfolios and more information here: linktr.ee/ferrang

Thank you for the support!

While I was away, devs from PlazaJapan.com were kind enough to reach out, compliment the channel, and gift me a complete set of the official Animal Crossing Happy Room miniatures. These were way more detailed than I thought and super fun to put together. Japan always gets the good stuff… 🫠

After a long hiatus, a new video is now live on my channel! This time, we examine the town generation process in the original Animal Crossing. Just how random is it? I hope you enjoy, and thank you all for your patience while waiting for this upload. 🧩

I'd also like to thank you all for your patience and support as I navigate my father's recent stroke and hospitalization. While he remains bedridden and immobile, he is slowly recovering basic speech and motor function. We remain optimistic about further recovery as he continues rehab therapy.

Following a sudden family emergency, my channel will remain inactive for the remainder of the year. I encourage every one to call their loved ones and cherish the times you have in health, for you never expect something tragic to happen until it does.

If you're interested in this game, or other homebrew e-Reader games, you can find more information at www.retrodotcards.com. An incredibly friendly and talented person, Matt has developed some truly impressive games here. These are must-have cards if you own an e-Reader!

I'm excited to share that I was a beta tester for the upcoming game "Pixel Pup" developed by @retrodotcards.com. This is a custom Picross-style game embedded entirely on printed e-Reader cards, making it fully playable on original GBA hardware! Such an incredible and fun little game! 🔥

Pretty crazy video title, especially when they specifically claim that the title is “not clickbait” at the start of the video… I thought there might more hidden e-Reader levels that nobody had ever found or played before, but it’s just the old levels that have been archived and on Wii U for ages? 🤔

A new video is live on my channel. Join me as I discuss Animal Crossing's immense dialogue and what makes it tick. Definitely a more casual video with a relaxed focus this time around, but I hope you're able to enjoy it nonetheless. ✍️

A true triumph in video game history! This video uncovers a lot of pre-release 3DS demos, including the first ever look at a “playable” version of New Leaf’s 2010 E3 demo. Congratulations to James and the 3DS Challenge Team for an amazing release. 👀

Certain cheats enabled in Dolphin can cause this exact graphical issue, but it’s possible they can occur without them as well. I’ve never seen anyone have this issue on console, but I might be wrong.

Was recently gifted these amazing Pokémon Center plushes that act as card displays. While I'm mostly known for Animal Crossing, I also collect Pokémon cards and thought these were neat! Maybe I'll share more of my collection from time to time. 🤔

I've taken the time to update my Animal Crossing letter scoring tool that launched earlier this year on my website. Included is a brand new UI, alongside various code optimizations and additional scaling support for mobile devices. 📨
