Wow. I've never had an issue getting a payout from another driver's insurance, but shit is different these days.
Not when they empty it out
Your insurance or their insurance? Either way, that sucks and I'm sorry.
In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.
If this were put to a popular vote (Metro only), it would fail. The people set to benefit don't live here and don't have to deal with the bs. Or pay for anything.
With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.
We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.
Please stand by for more.
I'll check my roster to see if there's room 😂
I quit my job and I *still* have to spend so much of my time checking to see if other people have done what they're supposed to do.
A 65-year-old couple may need about $400,000 to have a 90% chance of covering health costs over the course of retirement.

Yeah, my mom's partner was wearing a good helmet when his motorcycle was sideswiped. Did not save him.

In the second season of Beef on Netflix, Oscar Isaac's character references "Buy, Borrow, Die" — a tax-avoidance method used by the ultra-rich.
As part of @propublica.org's Secret IRS Files series, we put together this animation back in 2021 to explain how it works:
what... what do they think the word "pope" means
Thankfully, no! A wreck from the wee hours shut down the interstate for a stretch.
Well, the upside is that hearing the helicopters prompted me to look at traffic so I am emotionally prepared for the traffic that's going to flood the neighborhood for the next few hours. I hope the school bus drivers are prepared, too.

I absolutely despised Fahrenheit 451, but have no recollection of why. Made my kid read it, though and she loved it.
(I also hated all Dickens)
Young pope Leo, undated but he appears to be in his teens or early 20’s

Can't it also cause baldness? I see a lot of red hats covering up angry bald heads in the future
Def for the columbine. Maybe I tossed out some cilantro seeds and didn't know it because it's about 7 different plants of different ages all clustered together. Oh well, good job, past me (I guess)
Indigo columbine
I had 2 volunteers show up in my yard this year & have no idea how they got here. The 1st is cilantro. Several plants! I have never had luck growing it & now have some! 2nd is this gorgeous columbine. I have native columbine elsewhere, but no idea where this is from. cc @toxicoradica.bsky.social
I do plan to do that.
Again?!?
I think we should all start blogs again. Or online journals, even. That was a nice time. Just writing a few paragraphs about your day (don't forget to list the sad song you're listening to!) and maybe your friends will leave a comment. Then you go and read theirs and comment. It was fun.
Thanks for posting! That helps me decide who to vote for (as in, anyone other than who they endorsed)
Is Pope Leo XIV the right person to lead the Catholic Church? We asked four evangelicals at a megachurch outside of Nashville.
Sorry everyone, my wife asked me to delete the thread because it got too big. I'll let you know the next steps we take, if any. Fuck Target, Fuck Self Checkout, and Fuck AI though. We're exploring options with the lawyer.
