Booked a birthday trip with S. We’re going to one of my favorite cities on this planet (any guesses where), lol. Also exploring more of the country! Cannot wait!!!! Makes me want to get this ankle back in shape ASAP!

I can’t even tolerate looking at my incision - but those I love who do work patient facing are the “cool let me see” people.

This is why I work on the non-facing side of patient care (2x removed at that). Putting lotion on my own very swollen, dry skin gives me the ick - can’t imagine on a patient.

Still no weight allowed on my foot for another month! But I do get to return to work on Monday!

I’m ready to be a productive individual in society again. What was a 4 day weekend turned into a month of bed rotting

Since there isn’t anything else to do - caught up on a new crime drama based in Scotland on Netflix - highly recommend “Dept. Q”.

Going stir crazy! 1 week post-op, 2 more to go.

5/2 - sprain left wrist while using a shopping cart - how? No clue but it’s all I can think of!

5/9 - break first bone(s) in 48.5yrs of life in my tibia and fibula near my ankle by merely walking.

I am getting old and these creeks and pops happening are getting more real!

Not handling my stress levels well this week - still packing and moving AND packing for a long weekend trip to Texas. I don’t know what is what anymore

New keys and beginnings start tomorrow - positive vibes, changes, and goals ahead!

My days of using a kitchen chair as my work chair at home are shortly over. I think 5 yrs is long enough to justify a new chair 😂😂

Another successful trip in the books. There was more to this trip than historical value and all I can say on that is it’s never been harder to say good-bye.
