I don't know what it is about art, in particular, that has so many people feel like they are being gatekept from it.
I mean, it is one of the most accessible things in the world! You just grab any scrap of paper, something that can make marks on it, and --boom-- you can do art.
People of colour, particularly black communities, are disproportionately affected by the housing emergency. Demand a fairer housing system.
Housing should be fairer for everyone.
But our research has found that Black and Black Mixed heritage people continue to face discrimination when trying to secure a social home. 🚧🏠
Urgent action is required to tackle this deep-rooted problem.
