"And I can't believe I've now lost days out of my schedule just to find that Anneliese put the whole manse on high alert JUST to ensure her next fitting is twice as difficult as the last. Whatever overconfident sap she's got a hold of deserves it for wasting my time." adds Míriel, mentally preparing herself for the following days of refitting the princess' clothes for the umpteenth time.

Trekking through the Burmenci Forest, after the princess had seemingly vanished, head maid Míriel, accompanied by the Girtablulu mercenary, Ishtar, found Anneliese in a clearing, her stomach bloated with a Lamia that had attempted to subdue her- which resulted in a one-way trip down her royal throat
