Christmas with the Kranks is really just a lesson on how mutual community matters. The community was not the same without the Kranks, but people were taking advantage of them. The rituals and love we pour into communities would be missed if we didn’t show up, host, etc, but we all have to chip in.

Running an inclusive and affirming religious non-profit in the world right now is wild. Do we know what we will be doing three months from now? No. Do we know how much funding we will have? No. Do we know our work will be needed? Yes.
