I finally was able to pick up and install our rain cover! She’s loving having some shelter from the wind. Shout out to Angeltech here in Colorado Springs- such a rad shop 🤘🏻

You know what’s worse than biking through the winter? Biking through high pollen count.

I think it was just this first home game that was at Mile High stadium- I’m not sure where the rest will be this season. It’s such a shame, we packed that place and shattered the attendance record!

The Denver Summit kickoff was so much fun. Women’s sports is where it’s at (and SO MANY people biked! I got to take the metro for the first time too!)

If we actually do it then my daughter will be the same age as my father was when we first landed on the moon. I’m so excited for her ❤️

Whenever I visit your beautiful city I’ve always wanted to kayak around. One of these days I’m going to have to make it happen!

I do have a question- how are you powering these? I was playing around with adding heated grips + passenger seat along with the additional lighting, but that would mean a fairly substantial additional power source. I’m always curious how others solve for it

This looks so slick! I’ve been wanting to do something similar on my UA- I’m not sure anyone is my area understands that I’m not just doing the YMCA on my bike 😬

I hope you have as much adventure and joy with them as I have! I bought my first one about a year ago and it’s totally changed ours lives. I’m trying to convince my parents that they need to get a pair too ❤️

She chatted and sang the whole way home. I’m so happy this is the life I get to give her, it’s far too easy to loose sight of the little things ❤️

Got a sick phone pic of this Red-winged Blackbird on the morning drop off ride. I can’t wait to get a good birding lens for my R5 🤞🏻 #birdingbybike

I was gone for 2 weeks on vacation, did an immediate turn around for a week long business trip, and then got home to cold & snow. I finally got to ride my UA for the first time in nearly a month and boy did I miss it.

Comparison photographs of winter mornings at 8am local Standard Time (with sunlit skies) versus 8am local Daylight Saving Time (with dark skies) from six locations in three time zones across the United States. Americans currently experience only the top row of photos during winter. Proposals for permanent DST (also called “Sunshine Protection”) would force most Americans to experience the bottom row of photos instead.

Standard Time keeps mornings naturally sunlit, for health and safety. Permanent Daylight Saving Time would force us to wake hours before sunrise, to start work/school in cold darkness. Tell lawmakers to ditch DST with permanent Standard Time! 🔗👇

Denmark responded to 1973 oil crisis by reducing car-dependency. Let's do that now. - Streetsblog Chicago "The government had to introduce car-free Sundays. And then people realized that the car-free Sunday was the best day of the week."

FYI the 1970s oil crisis was the impetus for Copenhagen turning into a cycling city

It’s been over 3 years since I’ve booted this thing up and it just took 5 minutes of tuning and adjusting to get her humming along nicely. I love this thing so much

That’s my camping/snow bum adventure van! It’s got a 4” lift and is simply the most fun thing to drive. I wish they made a modern one!

I pulled up to the bike rack today and for the first time there was no room for me to park! Another couple there offered to move so I could use the side of the thing, but I excitedly explained I have a Dutch lock and to not worry. I fucking love biking everywhere.

This kind of smart, walkable, mixed-use urbanism is illegal to build in most American cities.

Emphasis on most, not everywhere. It’s always great to have more models within our own country to point to! It shows that not only is it possible, but it’s something that is loved and celebrated!

So I used to design visual interfaces, specifically as a UX designer. One of the big principles is you are not your user: test your design. This asshat did not test their fancy little design.
