Hi, thank you for your interest! I just want to clarify that the links are posted there by Psychology Today, and I am not a trained counselor or therapist. But I hope that you’re able to find some helpful resources on the site or elsewhere.
(2/2) Previous research on this topic was inconclusive & this finding (despite being null) tells us more about the nature of both delay discounting & OCD. I am so grateful that I had this chance to work with the Global OCD study team! Check out the full paper here: doi.org/10.1177/2167...
(1/2) I collaborated w/ a global research team (in Brazil, India, Netherlands, South Africa & USA) who collected data from >250 ppl w/ unmedicated OCD & >250 healthy ppl, and the jury is in: people w/ OCD show normal delay discounting. Check out my blog post about the paper: tinyurl.com/OCDdiscblog

Hi Uma! Cool idea - can you add me, too? Thanks! 🙂
