This is one of the bluest cities in america
Remember, Democrats have repeatedly advanced measures to ban partisan gerrymandering and Republicans have voted against them time after time.
This is the game Republicans wanted to play. OK, then.
his pace is hurting us
that was always the Tatum problem...ball stopping.
The GOP entered this redistricting under the rather childish delusion they were going to gerrymander, and nobody would gerrymander them. In TX, MO, and a half dozen other states, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind
nah let's shoot more straight on 1-4 fast break threes
Celtics just flinging the ball at the hoop and playing w no pace.
The diff in the way someone like Jaylen Brown is refereed and someone like SGA is WILD.
Turnabout is fair play I guess.
Imagine going back 20 years and explaining to people that they will need Amazon to watch the Lakers.

It's pretty obvious that the race of the victims is the reason this hasn't been a story and has been largely ignored by politicians.
Might Progressivism be an exception to this? Prob Democratic led but with really strong Republican elements.
but the fact of the matter is that with the notable exception *of* the mid to late 20th century, every major change in our political system and government has been a partisan or ideological political project.
one of the ways the mid to late 20th century political world has distorted the historical memories of even sophisticated observers is in the idea that you can achieve major transformations of american political life through something like bipartisan consensus
the shift to a winner-take-all distribution of electoral votes? a partisan project. the development of the mass political party? a partisan project. antislavery and reconstruction? a partisan project. even direct election of senators comes out of populist agitation in the late 19th century.
Not terminally online America wins again
Any reactionary chud who utters the words "allowed to" under any circumstances should be immediately slapped into silence. Repeat as necessary, to infinity.
I feel like Sun Tzu really missed out on "Invent Pete Hegseth and give him to the enemy"
