In case anyone’s interested, I found the first owl bowl in a little shop in HK that sold privately imported stuff from Japan. In Taipei a couple of years later, we found more. I bought a second one because obviously. I love them because they’re about so much more than novelty items. 🦉
Real in the sense of l’m finally leaving Cornwall. Everyone I know here who loves the place talks about it in terms of the sacrifices you have to make to live here. I just had the same conversation with another colleague yesterday. I’m fortunate enough to WFH and not need to live here. So, 🚀.

That was me today. Almost 30 minutes late to an appointment. I had good reasons, but half an hour is a lot, even for me.
I have a feeling that’s where we are headed.
The show tends to push certain characters to extremes that have repercussions far beyond themselves. I have a feeling she’s a mess now and will get messier.

I know, right? And Darlene’s wasn’t exactly hard to look at either.
Season 5 of For All Mankind is so very, very good. After a couple of less engaging seasons, this one reminds me what was so vital about the series in the first place.
Or those of us in England. I had a feeling too but had begun to suspect someone else might get it. I did *not* expect the final two to be who they were. But the outcome wasn’t a huge surprise, and I’m good with it.
Two weeks left in Cornwall. I have so much fondness for this place. I also cannot wait to leave.

Osaka’s a great city.
I’ve actually been to Nebraska. Omaha and Lincoln are nice cities, but I was driving to California from DC. The nothingness begins west of Lincoln. I set my cruise control on 100. For a long time, I was still in Nebraska.
Believe me, I’ve noticed. It’s part of why I don’t live there. I could never reconcile the difficult lives I saw around me (not to mention my own) with the rhapsodic adoration we were supposed to perform for the place.
But you have to be careful how you say that if you even do because patriotism is its own religion (with guns and righteousness) there.
When did the Disk Horse decide that? I mean, I don’t follow accounts that just post and repost the same formulaic BUY MY BOOK content, and anything with a bullet-point list of tropes is an instant nope/mute for me. But apart from that obnoxiousness, why not share news of your work?
That was my impression. I didn’t mean to suggest I thought you took it seriously. It’s more a comment on how stupid the gay media can be.
Shaved gays feel attacked? WTF is that clickbait bullshit? Some men are smooth. Some have chest hair. It’s all good.
Has it started already? I am okay with recent queens who left too soon coming back (I wanted to see more from Lucky Starzzz), and I thought Lydia B was cool enough to warrant encore, but I think they are more or less out of potential contestants otherwise.
