I'm running Daggerheart, Call of Cthulhu 7e, and Pathfinder 2e!
I'm also in a Dungeons and Dragons 5e (2014) campaign and a Fabula Ultama mini campaign

Mastery:
I think claim territory is a little convoluted. I understand the concept, but it feels like too many hoops to jump through for too little reward. I would consider cutting it

I love beastrage and I think it could the mastery feature all on its own

Specialization:
Prey Drive is incredibly powerful and I would suggest cutting or limiting it to a once per scene. Three features is also a bit much, so again, you might want to cut down to 2

I would also consider making the roll for the roar presence or instinct, instead of strength

Foundation:
I think three features is a little front heavy. Thunderous roar is great, but I would consider cutting one of the other two (leaning towards the first)

These look great! Very fun idea to build a subclass around beastform. And I think the domains are a solid choice.
Broad strokes: I'd suggest you remove the Strength based requirements. I think it doesn't add much to the design, and unnecessarily restricts player choice

Finally sent a "beta" pdf of Hope Springs Eternal to our backers (through the @heartofdaggers.bsky.social fulfillment service!). Excited to see how the Daggerheart community receives it! Some final edits and tweaks and we will send a final pdf in April!

So much damage could have been avoided if the Emperor just let Perturabo indulge his special interests and got him some Legos

I love Call of Cthulhu and I'm happy that life is permitting me to play it more. Eldritch madness, ho!

I have two players who worked with me to create subclasses for the Seraph and Sorcerer with different domains. We converted some 5e characters, and found the best combos to reflect their previous builds ^^

I like to think, in the Cthulhu Mythos, that the Hound of Tindalos act as the universe's antibodies against time travel.
Time travel is more than possible in the setting, but reality doesn't like being broken in that way. So the Hounds are how it corrects for inevitable time-shenanigans

Today, I'm editing a Call of Cthulhu scenario for a client. I'm cross-refrencing rulebooks, using google maps to measure distances, and typing up a storm. In short; I'm in my happy place. I feel like a fish in water, doing exactly what I was meant to do.

Fantasy writers, TTRPG friends, novelists, what have you:

What lies below? What happens if the denizens of your realm dig too deep?

The deeper you go, the more reality blurs around you; and the earth becomes more and more organic until you're tunneling through cartilage, muscle fiber, and subterranean rivers of blood.

Lion: Son of the Forest is Dark Angels propaganda and it absolutely works.

I did the exact same thing, lmao

For me, I wanted to try out the system to see if I liked it enough before I committed to buying the physical set

Yes, I think they're walking an unexpected tightrope. The game that they build their brand on suddenly became a liability thanks to WOTC and Hasbro shenanigans.

Oh absolutely, I'm sure that contributed to some extent

Yee. Just a big lil guy

If you see one of these in your game, it means your GM hates you and wants you to play a different character (joking)

If the tadpoles are left in their tank, it turns into a little baby thunder-dome and they all eat each other. If the last surviving baby is big enough to escape the tank, they grow into a neothelid:

I think I remember hearing it was because Brennan Lee Mulligan was more comfortable running in 5e instead of learning a new sysyem on the fly, which, fair enough

I think they're planning more mini campaigns in DH before making the big switch. Honestly Age of Umbra was great and did numbers

I would love to have regular game nights but unfortunately all this late stage capitalism keeps getting in the way

This is why I still hold out hope that generative Ai is just a flash in the pan

If you ever need a reminder, keep in mind that our tech overlords are detached from reality and terrible at predicting the future. That's what we have science fiction writers for (and the Simpsons, for reasons that elude me)
