Very sensible, no doubt, not to plant a new “Hardy” tree amidst the gravestones in St Pancras Old Churchyard when the original fell in 2022 (rather in better growing conditions nearby). But also rather prosaic not to.

The Basilica of St Ursula in Cologne was built on the ruins of an ancient Roman cemetery, and the walls of its Golden Chamber are covered with the carefully arranged bones of its occupants, alleged to be St Ursula and her 11,000 Virgins.
In contrast, the Romanesque font at St Aposteln, Cologne, is not going to be floating aloft any time soon.
