games that ask you to play as a mother, to parent as a mother, that complicates and interrogates the experience of being a mother. i mean the material reason those games don't exist is because women do not often make it that high up in the hierarchy of game dev compared to men.

i'm not talking about "games that moms play." i am talking about god of war, the last of us, bioshock: infinite, death stranding and now pragmata vs the absolute lack of games about the experience of motherhood.

i think a good question to ask is: why aren't there any "mom games" but "dad game" is a defined genre

I would never comment on a fic to say "I wish this were a drawing, where's the fanart version", so I don't really understand people who comment "WHERE'S THE FIC?????" on art and nothing else. It's in your head, where it belongs after you've parsed the visual story I just told
