I spent 5 hours yesterday on rewrites on 'Silver & Garlic'. I had an idea when I wrote the first draft to include a character from a different story I wrote, but she just didnt fit as a permanent member of the main characters.
I have tomorrow off from my jobjob and I think I have to restructure the end of Silver and Garlic again. I have a solid idea for the second book, but it requires a little bit of set up; which means some changes to the current version.
But I think they'll make the story more interesting.
We'll see.
You can live in the light until then. Even if that means you'll have to live in ignorance.

Now that I'm working on the 2nd draft of Silver and Garlic: Of Wolf and Gods, I'm starting to build the second book in my head and in notes on my phone. Story points, chapters, plot points, character arcs... I hope it all will mean something and I can actually get a publisher interested.

I can't believe @paramountplus cancelled the movie version that was going to be a direct sequel to the original trilogy. That's such a goddamn blunder.

Goddamnit. I had an idea for an epiilogue for Of Wolf anf Gods and maybe an alternate title that might be more marketable.
So here I am, instead of second drafting on my day off, writing a whole character interaction to cap off the novel and tie up some loose ends.

When I say I've improved as a writer in the last several years, I wasn't kidding. Comparing the final version of the original short story 'Wolves in the Ice' vs Second draft of new Dreadful novel that folds that story into it's first chapter.
And we finally have the final, text version of Issue 2 of The BulletProof Ghost! The reflection of the future and the grocery store are directly influenced by both Boonville and Tennyson, Indiana of my youth.
Now my mother in law is more stable from her cardiac event, I'll try to write more and post on here more. I know I've been absent and I'm sorry. Just been really busy lately. Thanks for the support and I hope to have updates on 'Of Wolf and Gods' soon. ❤️

Well, now there's a movie coming out called The Dreadful starring multiple actors of Game of Thrones fame... so it looks like I'm renaming 'Dreadful: Of Wolf and Gods' to simply 'Of Wolf and Gods', which will likely become the series name.

I just removed quite a bit of dialogue from the Sister's Keeper chapter of Dreadful: Of Wolf and Gods. It literally explains the plot of Scarlet Sheets, which is now the third chapter of this novel.
I hope the improvements in the novel will make it rereading these portions.
