My good buddy sent me a care package over and asked if I could pop together this Kaon upgrade onto TR Perceptor so I gladly obliged.
Some paint and glue later and violá!
It'd be tough finding good dog alt modes for starters. Not too many around!
Transformers Toys Retro G1-Inspired Autobot Wheelie
Well, yeah, it's Wheelie. Honestly I like the alt mode more BUT the front end pops off constantly when transforming and his joints are a bit finicky. He's definitely an update to previous offerings. 🤷♂️
My boy is back! For whatever reason I used to love Outback as a kid. I ordered him as soon as I saw him! Between him and Gears, I definitely prefer this use of the mold.
All I need is Powerglide, Swerve and Tailgate and I'm good to go for mini bots. So...WHEN ARE WE GETTING THROTTLEBOTS?!

I wasn't happy with the Hasbro release so I grabbed a SS G2 Grimlock and made "MY" Godzilla x Transformer crossover using parts from MavDoodles and PHG79 on Cults3D and the new DNA Design DK-67G kit.

N Smash Bros x Transformers - Wave 05 - Link
With Wave 05, I've been trying to push myself artistically. In case you missed Kirby, (check my feed) I'm using magnets and more styrene and milliput to get the look I want.
I went with a more generic Link for this one and chose a wolf form!

Very happy with how this grumpy fellow came out. I did the first CAD for him years ago, so it feels great to have finally finished one of my long abandoned projects.

With the new Super Mario Brothers movie kicking off in a couple weeks, I thought it'd be a good time to finish that Wave 05 of my Smash Brothers series. This one will have Kirby, Link,a Piranha plant, and Bowser.
I just finished Link and Kirby over the weekend, but my good buddy had a great idea for Blooper from Super Mario Bros. I was thinking Quintus, but he pitched Claw Jaw.
A little photoshoppery editing later and I have to say, it's a better choice for a custom. What do you think?

Yes, I know...I got more Earthrise Prime upgrades but...FOR THE TRAILER!
I already had upgrades for my main Prime's trailer, but I wanted a correct trailer door. The rest of the upgrades landed on the extra one.
I'd like to say I'm done with upgrades on these two but...you never know!
With the winter season still on and off in Pittsburgh, I can't paint customs as often as I want. So the easy alternative is some tiny upgrades for figs.
Grabbed some core class upgrades for Prime, Megs, and Hound. Nice steering wheel for Hound to go with his feet that turn into seat upgrades.

My first Transformer in ’84, so this one’s personal. Not a buy-every-version guy, but I prefer this over Legacy United.
Downside: the cassettes are just rectangles. I miss the old Laserbeak and Ravage.
Add fillers and Toyhax and he’s close to perfect.

I wasn't all in but, he's pretty great. Kinda prefer his body and the last rounds alt mode, but the accessories are aces.
I rarely keep 2 of a character but one is going with Orion Pax and Ariel, the other is going with Vector Sigma and the Aerialbots.

DNA Design’s DK-81 AOTP ALPHA UPGRADE KITS
This is the total package upgrade for AOTP Alpha Trion. Throw some @toyhax.com labels in there and I'd call this upgrade done!
Well, I like Brawl more than Vortex! He feels solid in your hand and he's got a balanced transformation, with some clever engineering.
I'd say my only gripe is having a tank that isn't blast effect compatible, I had to pose those separately.
Blastoff is next and I can't wait for the final two

AoTP Windcharger
Last of the ’84 updates since CW/TR/POTP, so I’m glad to finally have him.
Only real gripe. In the show his alt-mode back end is more feet. On the toy they turn into chunky snow-boot shins. Less ankle tilt, more shin tilt. Still better than the last one.
Overall, a solid upgrade.
