Certainly! I may throw my hat into the ring myself. The game looks super charming.

Want to learn more about how our #TTRPG plays?
Look no further, we have a video talking about the basics of the game: it's resolution system, hunger, and the dual character system, all in one place.
Check it out and tell me what you think!

You could always write a "10 Things Helldivers 2 Taught Me About Immersive Storytelling" article. lol
What are your favorite uncommon words?
Expanding my huge list of RSS feeds to various TTRPG blogs!
If you have any that you write to, or enjoy, please comment below with your favorites!
Was out there yesterday for the No Kings protest in Minneapolis standing up for the Constitution. ... Some would say literally! ... I travelled with the team carrying the tarp-recreation of the document. Thing was heavy!!!
Thank you.
I joined Substack start of last year cause I couldn't get subscribership without a built-in social network. I gained 230 subs since then; some legitimate traffic with people like me. I do think its time to change. I'm searching for a community; not just a platform.
Anyone know of a Substack alternative that has a social network feed like it had with Notes? ... Something to make it easy to communicate and network with other bloggers?
Last week was a pretty modest issue! ... I did really enjoy finding all of the videos of actual places on Earth (ruins, tunnel networks, caves, etc) which could inspire TTRPG dungeons.
Howdy TTRPG folks! I want to share my Substack with you!!
I do regular round-ups of tabletop RPG news, game master and design advice, free resources, bundles/deals, and more! ... Plus its a great spot to share where my fascination is that week, and connect with people!

show of hands.
who here is on Bluesky natively?
(no scheduling apps, or X auto-posts)
Natively, meaning a platform to engage with uniquely.
A lot of people have migrated to Bluesky, including myself. Though, I still see a lot of posts dual-posted elsewhere (can validate on old X account).

who here is on Bluesky natively?
so, I started Hytale last night and as a geek for survival crafting and a long exposure to minecraft RPG modpacks, seeing a heroic and atmospheric augmentation of an old formula is refreshing.
I might opt to host a Hytale server on my new home lab rather than an MC server
i hate to break it to you, but content creation is really just you talking about your favorite things to a room consisting of three people and twelve mannequins
the sooner you understand it the better
X/Twitter has got to be the most enshittified platform I have ever encountered this decade.
If the lead traffic of your platform is bots, AI, ragebait, and scheduled deadposting "content creators",... its better to assume that nobody isnt a bot.
In case you missed it, last week, I dig into a bunch of videos about REAL locations which are perfect to base your RPG dungeons on!

@variantberry.bsky.social, a gracious host!, interviewed us about Twelve Realms! Some quotes:
"That sounds like a lot of fun!"
"Philosophies like [yours] give me hope. It is part of what keeps me playing games!"
"Thatβs a beautiful thing to see!" #ttrpg
On this weeks Dungeon Delve, I highlight a bunch of great videos about ACTUAL dungeons and mind-blowing underground cities, caves, and tunnel systems.

Oooh! This is cool. This is REALLY cool. I wonder what their blog sa...
*sees just one piece of AI-generated art*
Nope!! Into the trash you go! Bye.
I'll admit; my slow emergence through my late 30's has me starting a slew of crafty tech and maker projects week to week.
My latest: building a mini-server rack to host a bunch of web apps, including a personal "Kindle-like" server for all of my TTRPG PDF's which I intend to share with my friends.
I'm many months into my Bluesky experience, and its the primary platform I use rn as a TTRPG nut.
Every time I look at X, I see some Elon or Drumpf tweet I never asked for. Also, Threads kind of felt lacking in personality, and I feel like it is mostly reposts?
Hbu? What has your experience been?
I apologize, friends.
I suggested in the latest Dungeon Delve that readers should watch my Bluesky for updates on GMs Day throughout the day, and I only send out one or two. I got hit with some IRL and mental health challenges.
Even the small promises are important to keep. Will do better.
