I realised yesterday when preparing my salad then, that I don't have a vegetable peeler which is ridiculous 😂
I only recently realised I didn't have a can opener because until then all the cans I'd used were ring pull ones. (I've fairly recently begun living alone so I guess I didn't need one)
I definitely don't eat as healthily as I could, I still eat processed foods. I just try to choose good stuff to have a sort of balance. Like I use this sprinkled on top of my cereal.
Well yes I could 😂 they are so messy though. I powered through and it was fine 😊
Years ago I used to track calories & keep food diaries. I'm sure it works for some people but I'd get fixated and start depriving myself. I don't think I ever had a full on ED but it wasn't healthy.
I find focusing on trying to eat a variety of plants works for me and I kind of see it as a game.

I am eating a pear for dessert. I don't buy pears very often. I don't really like texture of the skin. Anyway I've just looked up their nutritional info. 🍐
Stats on how many plants I've eaten. 82 last week, 40 this week, 121 this month. Highest score 103.
It gives you stats so I know my best score was 103. This encourages me to eat as wide a selection of things in a week to get the best variety of nutrients possible. (I do take supplements too as I had a vitamin D and B12 deficiency a few years ago.)
I just realised I forgot to use my avocado. Sad times. It'll have to wait until my next salad. 🥑
I've been tracking how many plants I eat each week since I saw a documentary about the gut microbiome that recommended we eat at least 30 different plants a week. I regularly get over 70.

Sweet chilli tempeh, grated carrot, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, spinach, beetroot, lamb's lettuce and cashew nuts with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. With red pepper hummus and bread sticks. Might have a pear for dessert.
