Median survival went from 6 months to 13 months. It may not sound like much, but for metastatic pancreatic cancer, this is big, IMO. We finally have something solid to build on in this field.

Most the RAS WT still have mutations in the pathway. I think this drug will be used for some RTK mutant cancers and in NF1 eventually.

The immune system is a struggle, the nomenclature alone makes my eyes glaze over. If it wasn’t covered in Osmosis Jones it takes a lot of effort to try and keep up.

But Michigan won 😊. Although now that I work at Michigan State I’m not sure if I am allowed to point that out.

Disappointing but we can still be friends.

This post right here convinces me we would be friends if we ever met in real like. If you posted about β€œEmpire Records” I would say best friends πŸ˜†

It is my version of Groundhog Day. I go find the sun and warm weather for a week and then I get the needed boost to get through the rest of winter.

What do you do if there have already been 2 snow days this week and you actually want/need there not to be another and it is STILL snowing?

This spot sits just east of Holland, my hometown. I used to drive this route a lot. The lake effect whiteouts would appear like walls in the distance. Inside was blinding whether day or night. I remember the routine: flipping on the hazard lights, driving white knuckled, and praying until Exit 55.

Don’t forget your corduroys. I bought 2 pairs recently 😊.

Do we know if Sacks did this whole career or were some of his earlier works more accurate (Awakenings and Migraine for example)? Very disappointing but just curious if this was ubiquitous throughout his career.
