How did you make the jewels so pretty? Are these just normal emissions?
there's also usually two fish-dragon thingies at the bottom who make the waves in the ocean
a pink haired catgirl with tattoos is relaxing in a field of flowers, the sun shining across a blue sky... blue sky, get it?
There's a rain storm outside my window, but it's always sunny in #VRChat

Yea, I didn't even mean this as a diss, it's just normal to not be able to pay attention over a longer time. And then instead of going over the material again like you're doing, some people will just fill in the blanks with whatever their brain came up with in the meantime.
IME people will retain about 50% of a really good lecture/video if they paid very good attention to it and remained exceptionally focused throughout
Taliban is not a culture, it's a political faction currently in charge because they are most effective at doing violence in their region. Like Western right-wingers would like to be.
They're not wrong. Modern tech culture has produced technologies that are middling at best, and most often just do harm to people for no perceptible gain.
and I think it's quite possible that the subscription economy pushed by big tech is going to end up normalizing dispossession and alienating normal people from the concept of private ownership
How could I say no to that?
idk back when those were a thing you actually had to consciously sit down, turn on your TV, and change to a channel that was running them at the time, instead of having them within literal arm's reach 24/7
It's so strange how transphobes have honed in on this idea of "biological sex" that is not only completely incoherent with the way sex is treated in biology, but also doesn't even line up with *cis people's* actual legal gender.
The problem is the sunk cost fallacy. Nobody likes to acknowledge that they were being played, least of all the people who put their own pride over basic human rights.
This response puzzles me. Do you think media projects the emotions you feel about it into your mind with you as a passive recipient of its influence?
I'm not sure why we see the ability of media to invoke emotions in people that are genuine and true to their inner life as a failure of media and its creators.
Like no fascist would look at a piece of media and go "ah yes, the guy who has the same value system as I do sure is a pathetic twat"
The fact that people bring up Homelander of all characters as a pro-fascist icon should already tell you that fascists will read their fascist ideas into media no matter how bluntly you tell them to fuck off.
I mean fascists do make sense. Resentment, superiority complexes, and the desire to inflict pain on people you see beneath you are not uncommon human impulses.
And I think that also tells us something about what makes fascism attractive to a lot of people.
Yea, I haven't watched past S2 but there are plenty of scenes in the early show where Homelander is depicted as the unstable pathetic loser that he is, it's just that he is also powerful and fearsome, and it feels to me like a lot of people are attracted to that.
Good morning! π
I'm trying! π
a pink-haired, tattooed catgirl, dressed in a crop top and low-riding jeans, smiles and waves at the audience. It's warm and sunny, and the flowers are in bloom!
Let's keep it sunny and warm for #TummyTuesday, Bluesky!

Rapists and creeps have hidden in online spaces from the very beginning. The problem here lies not with vrc but with how little the structures that fund all this technology care about child safety, except as an excuse to steal people's data or shut down LGBTQ activity.
(sorry for the wall of text, but I wanted to be thorough about laying out my opinion on this point)
For the record, I'm not asking you to solve these issues for me, I've DMed for close to 20 years with at least 5 different rule sets including every edition of D&D since AD&D 2nd.
I know how to make those work. But I can still feel disappointed by rules not providing support.
