Bottoms Up Harness Assessment for Bottoms Saturday Feb. 14 at 1 PM $10-40 per person devilmaskstud.io/classes
Harness Assessment What if you didn’t have to rely on “this is super comfortable, I promise?” Riggers usually mean well, but what counts as “sustainable” (much less comfortable) varies widely from person-to-person, day-to-day, and scene-to-scene. This workshop is designed to give you the tools to evaluate harnesses + advocate for yourself, even if you don’t tie. You will learn: What we mean when we say “sustainable” How to visually and physically assess a harness for green and red flags Language to ask for adjustments and provide feedback Frameworks for opting out of a tie without apologizing for self-advocacy devilmaskstud.io/classes
This class is part of our Bottoms Up series, a track of classes taught from the bottom's perspective. While they center skills for being in rope, the content is applicable for all rope nerds, regardless of their role(s). You Should Know: No prior rope experience or tying partner are required. Students of all roles are welcome! Bottoms Up is a philosophy, not an identity requirement. You Should Bring: Comfortable clothes you can move in Curiosity about your own body and desires devilmaskstud.io/classes
