But I don't enjoy making him needlessly suffer. It was important that he earned his happy ending after EW. But Etienne is naturally a melancholic person, so I don't think he'll ever shake it off.

He just feels things very intensely, and for so long he tried not to. Now he accepts it. That's growth.

Maintenance rambling hours.

I pose him straight faced for the most part, but Eti is sad all the time. There's a deep melancholia to him. Even when he's happy, there's a wistfulness to it. He's a sensitive soul.

The world can be very cruel. It can be hard for someone who feels as intensely as him.

You know I talk about Vrai a lot but it's Etienne. It really is Etienne. He's my favorite 💙
