It's the same part family as the BGA chip in your photo that I replied to. I'm coincidentally trying to evaluate the portability of code between the different package types, so that's a tempting offer.

A tiny board with exposed TMS320F2811 DSP next to a coin.
These parts have been a bit of a special interest to me lately, particularly if they're code protected. π
A stack of small purple PCBs bearing an entanglement hazard variation of the open source hardware insignia. The stack sits next to a populated board labelled "HARAMBE".
I just want to design stupid PCBs all the time.

I wonder if the code is read-out protected?
Yes, I used transmitβ.py from the GalPCUtils archive but did not encounter such an issue. What kind of UART do you have on host side?
If you want to bake a #Galaksija from scratch you must first invent the monitor, so I followed the original guide for modifying a television. This is the 40th anniversary variant of the board, which includes a UART and an EEPROM for storing programs, running DANCINGDEMON.
A completed Galaksija 2024 board with Domikey "Hush" keycaps.
Had wanted to build a #Galaksija computer designed by Voja AntoniΔ for a while and now I have! There was a Crowd Supply campaign for kits a while back but it went silent. It is, however, still relatively easy to source the parts and build one without a kit.
My assembler's support for the SM83 architecture used in the GameBoy is coming along nicely. The left is a Hello World cartridge and the right is a disassembly of the boot ROM that shows the Nintendo logo at startup.
Source and binaries will be available in February.
Multi-track drifting, er, dragging coming to KiCad 9! Video and code courtesy of Tom W :)
Any advancements in GIF image rendering appear to still be stalled, but at least MP4s will play in a loop.
Hello? Can I share moving picture technology from 1987 yet?

I reckon I'm supposed to proselytize these miraculous stories of reverse engineering and study of weird machines here now.
