The one on the right is a a photoshopped picture of this place in Bueno Aires.

It's a military school.
The one proposed by the Orange dictator is tasteless on its own, no need to make things up and misinform. That's their tool.
I mean, it's in Spanish FFS.

Same, mostly use my breaks for engaging the automatic hand break. But most drivers do very yanky breaking I find. Impacience? Maybe? And rolling to a traffic light, very often given it time to turn green anyway π
In civilised countries we have a national insurance that provides carers and carer allowance for people that need it.
The US even has meals on wheels, which is volunteer run, it should be funded by tax money.
Instead these companies extract money from those in need. Including the drivers.
Unfortunately a lot of drivers abuse the brakes. Even on petrol cars, which can do engine breaking, which would be the equivalent of rolling up to a stop.
Most people wait to the last minute to break I feel.
Magnetic induction is not perfect so they get both, but that's just an uneducated guess
The rule of "any headline that's phrased like a question can be answered as NO" still prevails.
Also, then it's not just a hand out to car manufacturers so they simply increase their prices.
Let's also extend it to car conversion kits ππ€
Which can cost about that much, and it's even better for the environment.
Not sure why car manufacturers insist on side chargings, front is so much better. My Zoe has the same π
I drove a spring when it was at the garage. Felt very barebones, but very cute. Reminded me of some of those old Minis with a turbo engine, cos EV torques even on a small thing like that.
Yeah, that's true, I got the two mixed up π my bad.
You're telling me, in the age of the blackberry, they asked consumers about not having a keyboard and they said it was a good idea? I thought they were about doing courageous changes (i.e. headphones jack) that are counter to mainstream attitudes.
Most likely, but user research would have made iPhones have a querty keyboard in 2007 π
Common sense should have told Microslob that this was a stupid idea π€
I just got @theonion.com newspaper.
The first newspaper I'm not gonna use mostly to protect my dining table when painting with water colours.
But it's totally worth it as it's well cheaper, driving EV is so much nicer and less stressful. Instant torque is hella fun too π€
Also, my car only has a 50kW charger, so longer trips half an hour gets me enough to drive for another 2 hours. Would be nice to have a 150kw to do that in 10 but usually I'm not in a rush or leave a bit earlier.
There's need a couple of times where I've had to wait for a charger, but not often.
It's not a bit issue, at all. It would be nice to have council parking with slow chargers that automatically connect to the home meter to make it more affordable.
From Β£30 per 200 miles to Β£10, but still cheaper than petrol and not a bother to charge once a week while I get food.
I'm in the UK, but Ireland seems ok too. We could always do with more and faster chargers, but it's happening π
Only for people that don't drive EVs. I don't have a place to charge at home. I top mine up on my weekly shop, or every 2 hours on service stations if I'm doing a long trip, which I do often.
I only hear complaints from people that a) don't have an EV or b) drive at 80+ mph.

There's been a lot of propaganda against nuclear for decades (reason why I stopped paying Greenpeace) and there's been allegations of oil money influencing it (allegedly)
But nuclear is the safest per kW and if we had invested more into it, we would have less waste now. It's fascinating
They have 59 operating nuclear plants already. And have 30 more on the way:
www.nuclearbusiness-platform.com/media/insigh...
We need both.
Soon they'll refer to non white British folks as British-identified.
The same people that use those terms, and are obsessed with our AGAB, are usually the same that would ask 'no, but where are you really from'. π€’
It's frustrating to see people talk about EVs without knowing what they are talking about. I have a 6yo 2nd hand EV with 60k miles on it, and the battery is still at 96% of capacity.
Also, I don't have access to home charging and it's absolutely fine, charge it once a week while I do my shoping.
About 20 years late, but it's something π
Old habits, I guess. Plus marketing, we're suckers for numbers go up (or down).
Like I don't give a toss how fast a car accelerates. The breaking power and collision detection is way more important. But we're mere animals that are controlled very easily, by abusing brain heuristics π¬
@gwr.com can you tell your app developers to stop geo blocking your mobile API? If I'm traveling abroad I should still be able to use your app to plan trips for when I'm back. Cowboy mistake if I'm honest.
Also, your new login requires to login every time.
I'm just gonna go back to using Trainline.
We need faster chargers, not more range. Heard of the rocket equation? Well, similar applies to cars.
It's not advised to drive more than 2 hours, which is a max of 140 miles (legally)
Driving at 60 and stopping every 2 hours for 10-15 minutes gets you there faster and cheaper.
I've heard similar stories in the community. And I've been thinking about how, a fair amount of far right folks are closeted thanks to generational trauma, controlling parents, and fear of exclusion from social groups. So many bigotry would be fixed by more hugs, live and care at the right time.
Those are daffodils, although some languages call them lillies.
But you're right, they're very toxic and where I live is plagued with them π¬ I didn't know that
Fair enough βΊοΈ
How's the documentation? I find it often generates a lot of useless docs that are repetitive and just describe how the code is doing its thing, instead of what it's doing. I.e.: // returns name
