Oh tension can just go fuck itself. Thankfully I’ve never really had an issue with it unless you’re trying to make, like, a piece of clothing be a certain size. If I need stuff to be tighter or looser I just use a different hook size.

True words, true words. I never have the attention span to get bigger than this unless it’s a continuous granny square and even then. But when the yarn is the type that changes colours it is a motivator to see what colour the next stitch will be.
