📅 1⃣1⃣ years ago today, Dejphon Chansiri unveiled Adam Pearson and Glenn Roeder to work with head coach Stuart Gray - a “three‑man sporting director by committee".
Pearson lasted 3⃣ weeks. Roeder 8⃣ months. Another turbulent chapter.

Gabriel Otegbayo’s development this season has been hugely encouraging for #SWFC.
He’s growing in stature with every match. A confident communicator, a maturing leader and a real threat in both boxes.
You can see him being a key man in Wednesday’s League One reboot. 🦉⚽️
Still a few tickets left for An Evening with Dom Howson at Waterstones next month.
Come and join @jamesmarriott.co.uk and me as we dive into Carlos Had a Dream and the story behind the book.

This is a mad #SWFC stat in a season full of mad Wednesday stats:
Their clean sheet at leaders Coventry was the first league shut out of 2026. They haven’t kept back‑to‑back league clean sheets in the same Championship season since the final two matches of 2023/24. 🦉⚽️
🔵⚪️ Interim #htafc boss Martin Drury: “It’s a frustrating result. We deserved to win. We had numerous opportunities. We have to be more ruthless.
“I’m frustrated by some of the game management late in the game. We got sucker punched at the end.”
Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy said: “It’s a great point in the circumstances. It was a patchy performance. We weren’t at our best this evening.” #htafc
🔵⚪️ FT: #htafc 1 Cardiff 1. A fourth successive home draw for Town. Dropped six points from winning positions against Lincoln, Wycombe and Cardiff. That would have put them in the play-offs.
Their promotion bid is all but over now. Not been good enough at the back all season.
GOAL. Salech. Yet another late goal conceded by #htafc.
🔵⚪️ It's relentless Cardiff pressure now and there's still a long time to go. The visitors have rolled the dice and used all their subs. #htafc are just about hanging on.
🔵⚪️ Nearly a second #htafc goal after a terrific counter attack. Sebine steered Sorensen's cross inches wide. Sorensen's delivery from the wide areas has been excellent tonight.
🔵⚪️ Has been all Cardiff in a stop-start second half. Rubin Colwill and Robertson have gone close to levelling things up. #htafc have yet to get going after knocks to Balker and Sebine. 57 minutes on the clock and there will plenty of time added on at the end. Town lead 1-0.
HT: #htafc 1 Cardiff 0. Ledson's sweet strike is the difference. Town have acquitted themselves well against the second best team in the league. Could have scored more. Big blow losing Radulovic to injury.
Must keep pushing for a second as Cardiff have threatened a few times.
🔵⚪️ Ledson has scored four goals in his last six appearances. His performances have got better and better as the season has gone on.
Good #htafc performance so far, albeit Cardiff have had their moments. Kellyman had their best chance.
GOAL!!! #htafc get their noses in front. Another exquisite finish from Ledson after a great Sorensen pull back. Credit Mumba for keeping the attack going.
🔵⚪️ Lively opening to #htafc vs Cardiff. Harness hit the crossbar before Rudulovic spurned a golden opportunity to give Town the lead, seeing his close range header brilliantly kept out by Trott following a pinpoint Sorensen cross. Tanner went close for Cardiff at the other end.
🔵⚪️ Back at the Accu Stadium where there are a lot of empty seats in the home end. #htafc have made a bright start, with Mumba having a goal chalked out for offside after a superb pick out from Humphreys.
🎵 Oh Sammy Sammy!
Loved watching Hutchinson play for #SWFC. An absolute warrior. 🦉⚽️

@danielstorey85.bsky.social Hi Daniel, I hope you're well. Could you follow me back when you get a moment? I’d like to DM you about something. Thanks.
Daniel Farke’s record as Leeds boss:
- Championship play-off final
- Championship title (100 points)
- FA Cup semi-final and Premier League consolidation (almost there with the last part)
Has done a top job. The change in system midway through the season was a masterstroke. 👏
A big thank you to FourFourTwo’s @joedonnohue.bsky.social for shining a light on 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦. Really grateful for the coverage as we build towards publication. #SWFC 🦉⚽️ tinyurl.com/hdzyjf83
🔵⚪️ As Town fan John Wilson mentioned earlier, there’s definitely a need for #htafc to recruit taller players in the summer window if they’re going to fix their poor record defending set pieces. Dead‑ball situations have been a big Achilles heel for some time.
Keeping Pierce Charles this summer feels a long shot for #SWFC. He’s simply too good for League One.
Selling Charles for good money and re‑signing Murphy Cooper might be the sensible play. With three years left on his QPR deal, it would likely have to be another loan. 🦉⚽️
Rory does love putting everyone through it! Back-to-back Masters titles.
Showed a world class temperament today after what happened on day three. Incredible sportsman. ⛳️
Rampant Man City second half display. Completely outplayed Chelsea. Earned the right to play with their relentless work off the ball.
Was quite clear in the early stages of the half that things were only going one way but Liam Rosenior was too slow to react and make changes.
Not many would have predicted a #SWFC clean sheet away at champions‑elect Coventry. Their first since December 29 - and it wasn’t a backs‑to‑the‑wall job either. Wednesday earned that point.
Four matches left to get back to zero, with three against teams in the relegation scrap. 🦉⚽️
🔵⚪️ Like that Kevin Nagle spoke to the podcasts. Not many club owners do this. He doesn’t hide.
But I learned very little about his plans for the future and what he intends to do to arrest Town’s sporting decline.
Have lessons been learned? We will see this summer. #htafc
🔵⚪️ Lincoln, Bradford and Stevenage have completely shown #htafc up this season. Shrewd recruitment. Excellent coaching. Clear playing philosophy.
It helps having money, but you don’t need to spend millions to be successful in League One. You just need a plan and stick to it.
🔵⚪️ That’s Huddersfield Town’s season over. Another year of underachievement on the pitch. Big changes required this summer.
Squad rebuild has to be focused on young, hungry players. Chris Markham and Co have to address the lack of pace and athleticism in the side. #htafc
🔵⚪️ Disappointing news for #htafc with Cameron Ashia set to miss the rest of the season through a groin injury. He’s an exciting talent and offers Town something different in the final third. Whatever happens in the run‑in, he has to be part of the club’s future.
