💾 How could a biodiversity scenarios database inform policy?

🔬 Today, attendees at #LivingData 2025 had the opportunity to discover BioAgora's Knowledge Exchange Network for biodiversity monitoring!

🤝 Maria Blasi from @creaf.cat delivered an insightful presentation on the Network's activities as well as its role in the Science Service for Biodiversity.

How is the effectiveness of terrestrial protected areas to conserve biodiversity measured? This systematic map aims to collate and synthesize global evidence on the methods and metrics used to assess the effectiveness of terrestrial PAs in biodiversity conservation.

🛡️ Protected areas (PAs) are a cornerstone of biodiversity conservation. But how do we know whether they truly work? We reviewed 275 articles & 280 studies to map how terrestrial PA effectiveness is measured. Here's what we found:
