I’ve been thinking about trying to create some Shopify apps. What’s your take, do you think the market is too saturated? Also, what kind of marketing strategies do you use for your apps?

If you’re building b2b and target enterprises customers can be hard for you to use your own product. I experienced this first hand when building safephishing.com

Personally, I feel it's good to create some basic features of the product if you can incorporate them into the landing page, sort of a sneak peek.

When building your project/startup, do you:

1) Start with the landing page
2) End with the landing page

I prefer starting with the landing page. It helps me define the vibe and direction of the app early on.

I did a similar challenge in 2024. My advice: don’t focus solely on coding, make sure to leave some time for marketing/sales

Honestly, I don’t think having a great product is enough on its own. You could build something amazing, but if no one knows about it, there’s no one to share it or benefit from it.
