Simmer pot with some summer vibes as we get ready for fall!

Today, we had a hearty meal featuring chicken with a lemon cream sauce, mashed potatoes, and spicy glazed carrots. Both boys loved it! Even Miles, who claims to hate lemons and spicy food.

My kiddo is about to realize I suck at most video games. I just really love playing them despite the fact that I suck. He invited me to play Marvel Rivals with a friend of his. I will be losing cool mom status once this update finishes downloading.

It's been a little over a year, and they are getting better. Cal (orange) I have had since 2015. We got Jaz and Haiku in December 2023. Cal tolerates Jaz and kind of gets along with her (black tortie on top). Haiku and Cal are working on it. She is super defensive, and he is just a dick.

We took a trip to get our favorite pho this weekend!

Miles ended up projectile vomiting today. I then carried him halfway through the house to the tub so he didn't track it everywhere. This was not how I saw my morning going, but everything (and everyone) is now clean. My back aches a little, but we will hope that gets better with some rest.

Tonight we fight the big baddie in our campaign and they made her way too hot. If my charisma was higher I'd definitely be trying to woo her instead of murder death punch her.

Wanted to end my weekend reliving one of my sexual awakenings. So I put on The Mummy Returns

My son started with Batman. That led us to Pokémon Cards. Now we are in our anime era, specifically DragonBall Super. He's 12 now, but at 9, opening and organizing Pokémon cards was huge.

I've had the past two weeks off, which is the longest I've taken off work for in a long time. Longest ever for a non-medical reason. I am kind of ready to go back, but I also wish I could not. This has been such a wonderful break mentally from everything.

Drinking a very good amount of tequila might have been a not so smart decision. However, the rookie mistake was taking a nap because the hangover has begun. Starting 2025 off rough so it can only go up from here. (Please don't do this. The next two days are going to be so rough)

It's been a year since Cal got two new sisters. Him and Jaz (second photo) have gotten along for a bit now. Him and Haiku are like oil and water. This happened and yes her ears are down meaning she isn't happy but no one fought. It was a huge step! (I rescued her after I took the picture)
