We're watching (and enjoying) The Testaments but also watching (for me a rewatch) The Man in the High Castle (excellent) but I have to space them out as there's only so much dystopia future we can take at one time.

Lower Decks is a great place to start because it's fun but references many episodes in other Star Trek series that it's like a (good!) gateway drug. My oldest watched it with me, and they'd say something from Star Trek "history" and he'd be like ... wait, is that true? And off we'd watch a show.....

-- some of my favorites and where the cast and plots are more matured. Or TNG at the beginning but not to worry about skipping weak episodes. But really, perhaps best is starting with .... Lower Decks!....

I thought long & hard and suggested beginning with the original series but starting with Arena, then Space Seed, A Taste of Armageddon, The City on the Edge of Forever, The Trouble With Tribbles, A Piece of the Action & Let That Be Your Last Battlefield....

I lost an hour in the US earlier this month with Daylight Saving Time. Now I’m in the UK & lost another hour. I irrationally feel like I’m never going to get that extra hour back. I’m like those people in Britain who thought they lost 11 days back in 1752, when the calendar was aligned with Europe.
