The mets are owned by a billionaire oligarch who wants to build a casino in their parking lot in opposition of the community.

Maybe don't support them this year.

Bravo! You wear it well.

Curly hair like that requires checking an extra bag just for product when traveling.

I hate Al and I refuse to use it

Peter, if you don't use Al a bunch of super rich men will lose a lot of money

I already said I hated Al Harry, you don't need to sell it to me

"Arguably a major reason why climate change has dropped out of the national conversation is because it is such an incredibly upsetting thing to think about."

Oh *shut up*.

Americans and Europeans are cheap asses who refuse to spend any money on the future because it would cost money.

Logistical rolls in the US military are disproportionately staffed and lead by women and people of color, because white men used to be the only ones allowed in combat.

I can almost guarantee many of the “woke” officers this ass hole is firing are the ones who keep the supply lines up and running.

Sure, if you’re proud that you’re getting pwned by a plagiarism machine, if you’re satisfied you can‘t code your way out of a wet tissue, if you’re content that you couldn’t comment your own code if you tried, happy to damage your cognition faster than Alzheimer’s… weird to brag about incompetence.

AI is theft. It's anti-Black. It's ableist. It's a wealth transfer from the poor and marginalized to the wealthiest corporations on earth. It destroys water tables and accelerates climate change.

A bright-eyed BUOW, or Burrowing Owl if you're not into the whole brevity thing, is wrapped in a baby blue fabric, held in the thick-gloved hand of a rehabilitator. The owl's eyes are lemon yellow, and his/her plumage is white across the eyebrows and chin, and tan to dark brown everywhere else, featuring light speckles across the forehead. The wrap forms a high upturned collar like Dracula. Dracowla? Draculowl? We'll keep working on that.

This Burrowing Owl had 3 surgeries following severe barbed-wire injuries. Thankfully Ojai Raptor Center gave a bright prognosis saying "he/she is looking good for recovery and release!"

Nostalgia on my part, I admit. The firm feel and travel of the key stroke. While I was only a 35-40 wpm typist, that speed gave me more time to think and pause.
I found adjusting the chair and table heights created a better posture.

Bring back the IBM Selectric. Or an original classic Royal typewriter.

If we're talking digital technology, then an IBM 3270, DEC VT100, or Lear Siegler ADM-3A terminal. Heck, even the keyboard from the original IBM PC.
