Ironically our current landlords who sell the place think WE are making THEIR lives difficult. They have told us this at various volumes several times.

We did this in grad school as we all lived so close. There was also the alcohol version. We each were a different country and had a drink and dish from that place.

I have also done a potluck version of this where the host only had to host and provide the utensils etc.

Thanks! We decided not the submit a binding offer on that place. There are some personal circumstances that make it seem now is not the time to commit to buying a house.

We just saw a rental we really like and hope we get! We told them we want it but we know there’s a ton of interest. This is of course after we get a high pressure letter from the new buyers of our current rental who all but threatened us to try and move out early.

It was never about that. It’s a train wreck that I cannot look away from despite my better judgment.

One of the first English language pieces I’ve seen on this. It’s shocking and i hope Germany handles it appropriately but have little confidence.

My advice is to go to YouTube and there you can find real B1 test takers demonstrating the speaking portion. It gave me a ton of confidence when I realized I could match/do better than them. I found the hardest part of the speaking to be understanding my partner.

The real question I have: will this new plan be allowable for folks with US tax obligations. I realllly hope so.

Our landlord is a Dr. we know from LinkedIn his son is too. He has never informed us of his doctor title and therefore we use Mr. exclusively. It gives me weird satisfaction.
