Like, I've healed a lot after letting go of some deeply entrenched ideas about how men are "supposed to" exist, and I still have a lot of work to do in terms of turning that healing into community. It's gonna be a long journey, but it's worth it :)
The only thing the Theroux doc showed me is that there's gotta be some kind of way to connect boys to the notion that strength can come from kindness, selflessness, actual unconditional love for other people. It doesn't have to always be about domination and "legacy".
