In the games I’ve watched this season, I’ve noticed that pitchers are having trouble keeping their shoes tied tight enough. I don’t have any data to support this, but their laces seem to be looser when the count is in the batter’s favor….

Not sure if Lakeland is on your radar but Joker Marchant is another older Florida State League park. Like LECOM, been there over 50 years, with a major expansion 9-10 years ago. Always been a Tiger affiliate, which is unique.

Love it when the bullpens are in the same general area of the stadium and they run out separately to get to the fight.
If they really wanted to fight, they’d throw down in the outfield….but no, we’ll jog out together, and separate, until we get to the action. Then we’ll do nothing

Time will tell if this new group is really significantly better or last year’s group was really that bad. At first glance, it looks like the latter to me.
But the chances of improvement are definitely there.

My sense is that the Hillsborough County commission will have to push through whatever stadium funding the team wants without any vote from the taxpayers.
Like Cobb county did for the Braves.
I don’t think that the general public is unified about using taxpayer money to move the Rays to Tampa.

Failure rate is much closer to 100% for a politician…must be MLB hitter.

I did the same, but the last few seasons I found myself paying for MLBtv and whoever did the Rays games…. I paid for the Rays games month to month and cut them off when they fell out of the playoff race, and then watched MiLB or non-Rays games for the rest of the year on MLBtv.
It was so much work.

The feckless media just lets them all say whatever without any pushback….I’m disgusted by the lot of them.

Wonder how GMS field will be affected?
There seems to be enough land to satisfy the teams requirements.
Games during football season will require some extra infrastructure planning, but a few teams manage it, the Rays will too.
