Beige is best used specifically in this exact context of rad fossil designs imo

Oooh loving the warm one but I'd wear either!! May I suggest possibly a pale green as well....
My hand holding a primitive plant stem made from felt. It has a few simple branches and spore capsules on the end of each
Anyone here good with Silurian plants? What should I plant my Cooksonia in?
A fluffy plush hot-cross-bun-like critter on a plate. It's round, legless, and has a bushy squirrely tail, a pointy face and big beady eyes. Its fur is ginger and beige with a few pom pom raisins dotted about.
The back of the plushie, showing a white cross marking, but with two extra horizontal lines to mimic numbat stripes.
The hot cross numbat being held up and squished slightly.
For Easter I made a hot cross numbat! I think it would eat raisins like ants.
Two plushies tucked nose to tail into a cardboard box lined with purple tissue paper. A larger cotylorhynchus is nestled in front, with a gorgonops peeking out from behind it. Both are wearing little bandanas round their necks.
Sometimes I just enjoy the way plushies look tucked into their boxes before I close them! This gorgonops looked extra cute peeking out at me... Bye bye have fun
(Also I love that someone tried a bandana on this cotylorhynchus hehe... I'm not sure it quiiite fits, but we tried...)
A small headed but chunky bodied cotylorhynchus plushie beside a cardboard box that is slightly smaller than it.
The plushie is squished halfway in the box, its head and arms sticking out
Only the head is sticking out now, happily nestled among pink tissue paper
The box is closed and taped. You would never know.
Thought I'd need to fetch a larger box for this cotylorhynchus, but apparently not! Squiiiiisssshh
A small plush cotylorhynchus being firmly grasped in a hand. It's a vaguely lizardy animal with a big rotund body, four big plappy feet, and a very small head with a pleasant little smile. This one's a kind of purplish browny beige colour.
A plush cotylorhynchus about twice the size of the previous, also being grasped in a hand but less snugly. It's a brighter purplish colour, with more defined scales and wrinkles.
I have made my cotylorhynchus plushies larger btw! Head still small though.

A small, cream coloured thylacine plushie wearing a wooden badge of himself pinned onto a rainbow checked bandana.
A wooden pin badge held in my fingers. It's a cartoony sitting thylacine, with thick brown outlines and stripes and a pink nose and ears, printed onto pale wood that shows through as the fur colour.
Got some cute little wooden pin badges of Cereal the thylacine in my shop! (plus a couple of the actual beanies!)
If you enjoy the card tags I tie onto all my plushies, here is a more resilient version of them that you can put on your clothes.
The thylacine plush is already fully funded ๐ญ ๐ญ Thank you so, so much to everyone that's put in a preorder!!

Omg I can't believe Nate is real
A plump and cheerful snow T. rex sitting in a garden. It has little twig arms and pebble eyes.
The snow rex with a small, fluffy, grey yutyrannus plushie sitting between its feet.
Snow rex giving the camera a friendly smile
It snowed enough to sculpt a fat little tyrannosaurus today!
Oh hey I know where that is! Funnily, I was in the OTHER Glasgow museum today... So nearby...
(Also happy to see that other people bring their thylacines to see their museum relatives haha, I love to do that in Edinburgh)
A box of RttS comics didn't make it to England in time for me to sell them at Dinocon last year, so instead of sending them back to the USA, me and my friend @thylacereal.bsky.social worked something out! Cheaper shipping to the Eastern hemisphere, while supplies last: www.thylacinestoyshop.com/rtts
A large jar stuffed full of pink, somewhat fetal-looking plush thylacine joeys. It resembles either a jar of preserved specimens, or of strawberry jelly babies.
Eight sleepy little thylacine joeys. So cute, so meaty.
Behold my jar o' joeys... you can also adopt one, if you have been wishing for a meaty little pocket-sized thylacine baby of your own!

A mixed-up heap of beanie thylacine plushies. Some have colours based on pink rock salt, some like rainbow peppercorns, and some have blotches of both, but it's a little hard to tell!
A row of 5 thylacine beanies. A pink salt is on the left, and a black, cream, red and green pepper is on the right. The middle three are mixtures of both, with unique patches of pink and dark colouring.
The three hybrid thylacines posed playfully, showing off their different patterns and spotty noses.
It's been a while, oops! I'm alive.
Salt and Pepper thylacines have restocked, but I also mixed up some some Salt AND Pepper thylacines! These hybrid thylas will aways have a unique spot pattern.

Two plush thylacines 'helping' to build a small model made from stacked layers of cardboard. One is holding a glue tube in its mouth and applying it to the next layer. Inside the model is a pouch with a sleeping joey that will be hidden when complete.
The finished chibi cardboard thylacine has its jaws opened wide towards the two plushies. They look nervous.
The cardboard thylacine faces off against a cardboard Tasmanian devil. Both are cute chibi proportioned, and have wide open toothy mouths. The devil has a cartoony meat drumstick under its paw.
The thylacine has the devil's meat chunk in its mouth. The devil, though its expression is unchanged, looks distraught.
Finally assembled this Eugy cardboard thylacine model last night.
(spot the cute surprise hidden inside it in the first pic hehe)
A realistic plush anomalocaris, made of printed fabric and plastic safety eyes. It is red and orange with blueish flippy flappers and big beadie black eyes
A realistic plush devonian jawless fish- this creature has a big horseshoe-shaped head and articulated scaled body and fins. It has two shining golden eyes staring from on top of the shield-head. it's mottled brown with a hint of blue.
Previously only seen at Dinocon- two new Palaeoplushies make an appearance!
The famous Anomalocaris, and the jawless fish Zenaspis!
These two are available for the first time over on my website!

Five plush Walking With Dinosaurs finger puppets on my right hand. From pinky to thumb: allosaurus, coelophysis, ornitholestes, leaellynasaura, torosaurus
The handful of puppets from behind.
The puppets from the side, peeking out behind one another.
WWD finger puppets yay! I assume this is a full set? Never seen the ornitholestes one before.
(I always feel kinda tempted to sew bodies for these... If I had matching fabric...)
Well... sometimes, simply having an especially chuckable newt in your hand while approaching a funny house is reason enough.
(Oh I should remember to credit @palaeoplushies.com for this newt..!)
Whoa that's a big lad!! Good luck in there beautiful stego...
Sweet dreams little meaty angel......
Oh it's these cuties!! Loved these wee guys, thanks for letting me have a play with one hehe.
A Yi-Qi dinosaur toy painted in albino colors posed on a tree branch, over a forest background
Two Yi-Qi dinosaur toys, one in light and one in dark colors, posed to sit on a branch in a forest
A dark-colored Yi-Qi ball-jointed doll posed on a wooden porch railing
Aight gonna spam more of these lil Yi Qi guys, some silly phone pics for now.
See thread below for more! The woodland pics were taken at Dinocon, found this really cool little footpath that led from the uni through a park, towards downtown
(Also I think these can be called #paleoart yeah?)
Photo of a giant newt floating in the sky above a house with a tower shaped like a massive stone pineapple. The newt is actually a realistic plushie I threw in the air.
Flying newt descending upon pineapple house.
Illustration of the Silurian Period based on fossils in Scotland.
The first animals to live on land were tiny arthropods, escaping predators and eating food in fields of cooksonia plants.

Tiny, bright blue Beasts of the Mesozoic velociraptor figure, posed riding a rainbow striped Schleich zebra. It's sitting down, holding onto the mane and looking up towards the camera with its mouth wide.
The velociraptor is now balanced standing on the zebra's back, surfboard style, facing the direction of travel.
Yippee!! Yeehaw!!
